Wacom Graphire 3 on SuSE 9.2 AMD64/x86_64
I've just got a Wacom Graphire 3 USB tablet, and tried to install it
on SuSE 9.2 (x86_64 version for Athlon 64). However, X did crash
whenever I tried to load the wacom driver. I then downloaded the
source from the ![[html]](icons/html.gif){kind=icon}
Linux Wacom Project,
and tried to compile that one. That was more difficult than expected,
since several options are set wrong. Fortunately, I found some hints
on the net, to solve that Makefile problem. This is the
diff file.
For all of you who want to just use the driver, here's a binary of the wacom_drv.o (31k). gunzip this file, and copy it to usrX11R6/lib64/modules/input/wacom_drv.o, and things should work.
